Silver tells a volatile story of Earth's origin: Water was present during its birth

- Tiny variations in the isotopic composition of silver in meteorites and Earth rocks are helping scientists put together a timetable of how our planet was assembled beginning 4.568 billion years ago... The addition of volatile-rich material could have occurred in a single event, perhaps the giant collision between the proto-Earth and a Mars-sized object thought to have ejected enough material into Earth orbit to form the Moon. * Scientists finds evidence of water ice on asteroid's surface... The Moon may have formed in a nuclear explosion... Modern Science and the Ancient Writings on the Genesis of the Solar System - Zecharia Sitchin - "The Twelfth Planet": "The planet Nibiru and its seven satellites to head towards Tiamat... Kingu, Tiamat's main satellite, is protected in the course of the collision and becomes our Moon... One of Nibiru's satellites cut Tiamat in two, thus forming the "Sky", the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, and the other half formed the Earth, with its own, independent orbit:
